Wealth Accumulator Calculator
This calculator will help you develop a plan for building up a rainy day fund, a retirement account, or any similar nest egg. Whether you have any current savings, or you're starting at zero, contributing to your account on a regular basis is a great way to build your account.

Beginning lump sum balance:
(optional value) If you have any current savings that you can use to start your nest egg account, enter that amount as your beginning lump sum balance.

Monthly contribution:
(optional value) Enter the amount that you plan to contribute to your account each month.

Anticipated annual interest rate
(such as 4.2 for 4.2%)
Enter the annual interest rate that you expect to earn over the life of this savings plan, such as 4.2 for 4.2%. Be sure to enter the annual interest rate, in the format that is shown. You don't need to enter the percent sign.

As the interest rate goes up, the total amount of interest that you will earn over the life of the savings plan increases as well.

Number of years
Enter the number of years over which you will make your monthly deposits. As the number of years increases, your eventual final balance in your account will increase.
